Topshop block heels sold out now, but they restock
I’ve been wanting to take Kaan on a mommy-son date for a while now. My friend who used to babysit twins suggested getting them used to hanging out alone, early on. Outside of a doctor’s visit, they really haven’t spent any time without each other.
It was super strange to be out and about with just one baby. I didn’t even bring the stroller and it felt so free. We have a heavy, monster twin stroller that’s pretty bulky. I need to get a more compact, light weight one, now that the twins are bigger. Anyways, we went to the Madison Avenue Ladurée and had so much fun. The Soho location is a lot bigger and has a more extensive menu, but this location is cute and closer to home. Kaan was pretty chill and well behaved, just hanging out with mama all by himself. The staff were honestly so nice and non-judgey towards us and the crumbs he left on the floor. I recommend going early, (they open at 9, Sundays at 10,) if you want to sit at a table. They only have a few, and they fill up fast. The chocolate croissant doesn’t look like much, and I usually go for the fancier desserts they have, but it was SO good and fresh. Kaan definitely has an egg allergy, so he only had a bite of macaron. Afterwards, we just walked around Madison Avenue. Usually, I don’t let the twins walk around on a street like this. It’s just too hard to manage with two of them, and Kaan only just started walking. He thought it was so fun crossing the street and checking out the flowers and doggies. He didn’t miss Rose one bit!
Back at home, Rose was throwing a tantrum and refusing to nap without Kaan in the room. We brought home a rose flavored macaron for her. Although she dropped most of it on the floor, she loved it. They are so over the baby brand cookies, so she was happy to have a real treat.
Rose wears this tank like every day. The twins have a lot of clothes from Gap because they still look good after you wash them a million times.
Have a great week,
