Camel J.Crew COAT, old
I’ve been wanting to go to this downtown, pink-tabled cafe for a while now. The menu does not disappoint. Food is healthy, colorful and delish. They put tahini in many items, including their avocado toast and brownie, so I was in heaven. They also have cardamom coffee! So good. If you haven’t yet visited this obligatory IG photo spot, go! And don’t miss the pink neon sign in the bathroom. It’s too scandalous to show you…
Because of the French vibes here, I decided to wear my Anna Karina-esque red tights and my new vintage Guerlain pin. My favorite ETSY seller has tons of vintage jewelry and I died when I saw a pin replica of my absolute favorite perfume. Basically everyone in my life hates on this “old lady smell,” but it has never stopped me from wearing it. Guerlain describes L’Heure Bleue as endearing, unsettling and captivating. This perfume has been around since 1912! The notes are aniseed, bergamot, iris, violet, tuberose and vanilla. Translated from French, the name of the perfume is The Blue Hour. I think all the references various artists have made to the blue hour are interesting to read about also. If you want to smell this perfume, it can be somewhat hard to find, but they always have it at Saks Fifth Avenue.
Have a great week!
