Last weekend I took Rose for a mommy daughter brunch at The Plaza Hotel. They renovated the interior and the menu a few years ago, and I hadn’t been since the renovation. They’re known for Afternoon Tea in this gorgeous room, The Palm Court. But, Rose is a tiny bit little for drinking tea, even if she is half Turkish 😉 She was so well behaved despite this fancy, vintage high chair having NO STRAPS!!! Normally, without straps, she’ll stand up in her high chair and then tease me by saying “get down.” Thankfully, she was super distracted by the reflective surface on our table. She just kept peeking at herself and giggling. As we were leaving we saw a beautiful momma about to have her baby shower in The Palm Court! What a perfect setting for a little baby shower, btw.

Afterwards, we roamed around The Plaza’s hallways, sneaking into hidden ballrooms and running around (everyone else was doing it too!) Downstairs in the basement, they have a huge Todd English food court, and lots of little shops, so it’s good place to just explore when it’s raining/freezing outside.

If you wanna go for a fancy little treat, The Afternoon Tea is about $100 per person every day from 12 – 5, and brunch is all you can eat, for about $50 per person from 7 – 11. Rose ate for free 🙂 but I swear she ate more than me or my friend! Rose ate smoked salmon, tons of cheese, capers, bread, pastries, watermelon, blueberries, eggs, sausage, more sausage and yogurt. My little muffin can EAT!!

Have a great weekend everyone!
